This is a proposed building plan for a deck, pergola, and water catchment greenhouse addition for a suburban home. The water catchment design would allow for water from the roof of the house to drain through a filtration system and into a catchment barrel.
When the release valves on the barrel are open, this gravity fed system allows the water to flow from the storage barrel into the garden beds of the greenhouse. A foul flush valve allows you to divert water out of the system before reaching the barrel, in the case the barrel is full or its the first rain of the year and there is excessive roof debris in the runoff.
